Fiber Installation Technician

At ALLO, we are looking for enthusiastic, customer‑focused go‑getters to join our residential installation and repair team. You will be the face of ALLO, installing and explaining the benefits of fiber internet and phone services.

Colorado residents:
Pay $20‑$25 per hour depends on experience.

• Perform installation and repair of residential fiber internet and phone services.
• Neatly run and terminate fiber inside customer premises.
• Connect fiber to ONT and MST when needed.
• Provide education to customers on products and services.
• Cross‑train to other functions as needed.
• Accept periodic assignments that involve travel away from immediate home office area based on client needs, business needs and project scope.
• Maintain inventory of common items on company vehicle for daily tasks.
• Maintain company tools and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1year of telecommunications experience.
• Associates or 1year of equivalent work experience (preferred).
• Understanding of basic network routing protocols.
• Knowledge and ability to work with power tools.
• General knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems.
• Time‑management and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate information effectively.
• Team‑player attitude.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and participate in on‑call rotations once trained to a competent level.
• Willingness to travel outside of home market for extended periods of time based on project and business needs.

• Raise objects up to 80lbs.
• L lift, bend, kneel, stand, crawl, and descend ladders.
• Operate hand tools and equipment.
• Work outdoors and in extreme weather conditions.
• Recognize different colors and identify cable types.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license.
