Job Summary
Position:
Pipe/Mechanical Trades II – HVAC. Responsibilities include maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and evaluating campus HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical and building automation systems to ensure code‑compliant operation. The role also coordinates with other trades and supports campus snow and inclement weather operations.
- Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC, refrigeration, and mechanical building systems.
- Install and evaluate HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, and building automation equipment.
- Coordinate with other trades and support campus snow and inclement weather operations.
- Maximum of eight (8) years of service in the Pipe/Mech series, or related experience outside of the series is acceptable.
- Provide official transcripts of academic work completed.
- Provide evidence of eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Knowledge of HVAC and building automation systems is preferred.
