Advantage Truck Group (ATG) has an exciting new opportunity for a Body Shop Technician – Class A Commercial Vehicles. The technician performs high‑quality collision repairs, structural corrections, and refinishing prep on Class A commercial vehicles. A minimum of two years of professional automotive or commercial collision repair experience is required. Commercial vehicle experience and a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) are advantageous, but proficient automotive collision technicians seeking to transition into the commercial sector are encouraged to apply.

• Execute precise vehicle repairs in strict accordance with estimation sheets and manufacturer guidelines.
• Inspect delivered parts against estimates to verify accuracy and ensure all necessary components are present.
• Prepare vehicle surfaces, structures, and panels thoroughly for upcoming body and refinishing work.
• Identify and report hidden damage or necessary supplemental repairs to management immediately.
• Communicate production delays, technical challenges, or timeline changes proactively to the shop manager.
• Maintain all shop tools, machinery, and specialty repair equipment clean, organized, and properly maintained.
• Wear and maintain all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including properly fitted respirators.
• Follow all local, state, and federal regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal, EPA standards, and OSHA guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with painters, preppers, and other technicians to optimize shop workflow and efficiency.

• 2+ years of experience in automotive or commercial collision repair.
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) – preferred.

• Minimum of 2+ years of professional automotive or commercial collision repair experience.
• Proficiency in general collision repair; experience with refinishing prep or structural frame correction is a strong plus.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred but not mandatory.
• Physical demands include operating heavy shop machinery, lifting repair materials, and standing for extended periods.
