Job Overview
Primoris Services Corporation’s Q3 Contracting division is a publicly owned construction contracting company that provides both specific and turnkey services for customers in the gas, oil, electric, and telecommunications industry. The company is headquartered in Minnesota and has branch offices throughout the Midwest. This position is for underground dry utility laborers and will be based at the Commerce City or Dove Valley office, traveling throughout the Denver Metro Area.
Key Responsibilities- Clean job sites, remove debris, backfill trenches, and tamp soil.
- Dig trenches and pits manually or with equipment.
- Assist with installation support.
- Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment.
- Signal equipment operators and participate in daily safety briefings.
- Working experience in construction or the utility distribution industry (preferred but not required).
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) highly preferred, with endorsements.
- Driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to drive on a stop‑and‑start basis daily and continually.
- Dependable, willing, and able to perform physically demanding work in the elements.
- Ability to lift and place materials, and to lift 50 pounds on a daily basis.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, turn, stoop, kneel, crawl, reach, crouch, speak, and hear.
- Close vision for some functions and distance, and peripheral vision for safety.
- Must pass a drug screen and background check; the company is a drug‑free environment.
This is a union position. Benefits may be offered through the union and include health insurance, apprenticeship and skilled training, continuing education, pension plans, and other resources. Pay and benefits are determined by the union contract. Competitive compensation is paid weekly, a company vehicle is provided, and paid sick leave is available as required by Colorado’s Healthy Families and Workplaces Act.
