An aerospace technology company is seeking a Senior Software Quality Engineer II to ensure the quality, reliability, and compliance of mission‑critical software systems.
What you’ll do:- Lead software testing, validation, and quality assurance activities.
- Develop and maintain QMS processes, test plans, and test environments.
- Track defects, quality metrics, and testing progress.
- Conduct audits and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, systems, and quality teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in software QA, testing, or software engineering.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, test planning, audits, and defect management.
- Experience with Agile environments and tools such as Jira, Confluence, Docker, and Git Lab.
- Programming experience in C, C++, Python, or similar languages.
- Aerospace, defense, embedded systems, or telecom experience.
- Knowledge of AS9100/AS9115, Six Sigma, and software integration testing.
- Work on advanced aerospace technologies in a collaborative environment.
