We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and support scalable, cloud-native applications hosted on AWS. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in backend development using Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
, along with deep experience in building high-performance distributed systems and working with both relational and No

SQL databases.

In this role, you will be expected to provide technical leadership, drive architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable solutions.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture

• Lead the design and implementation of cloud-native solutions on AWS
  , ensuring high availability, performance, and security.

• Drive architecture discussions and technical decisions for new features and platform enhancements.

• Design and optimize data models, queries, and integrations across PostgreSQL, MySQL, and DynamoDB environments.

• Develop event-driven and asynchronous processing solutions using modern distributed system patterns.

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Dev Ops, QA, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

• Perform code reviews, enforce engineering best practices, and provide technical mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, performance bottlenecks, and scalability challenges.

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.

• Contribute to technical documentation, architectural designs, and operational runbooks.

• Champion software engineering best practices, including testing, API governance, security, and Dev Ops methodologies.

Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

Software Development: Knowledge of software development tools and activities; ability to produce software products or systems in line with product requirements.

Software Development Life Cycle: Knowledge of software development life cycle; ability to use a structured methodology for delivering and managing new or enhanced software products to the marketplace.

Software Product Design/Architecture: Knowledge of software product design; ability to convert market requirements into the software product design.

Software Product Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of technical aspects of a software products; ability to design, configure and integrate technical aspects of software products.

• Software development experience building enterprise-grade backend applications.

• Strong proficiency in Java 11+, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices architecture.

• Proven experience designing and supporting applications on AWS

• Strong hands-on experience with the following databases (

• Experience with database design, query optimization, indexing strategies, and performance tuning.

• Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability patterns, and high-availability architectures.
