Software Engineer, DevOps, Java Developer

Job Type Full Time Workplace Type Onsite Clearance TSSCI Must be a US Citizen Job Summary Castalia Systems is seeking a Software Engineer to support our onsite client with their mission

• A qualified candidate will perform the following duties and responsibilities but are not limited to Develop software for cutting edge satellite ground systems
  
  Work with a team of engineers architects and leaders in an Agile environment

• A Bachelors degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics STEM and 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws regulations
• Experience designing and developing object oriented software using Java
• Experience with Java multi threading
• An active and transferable US government issued TSSCI security clearance is required prior to start date
• An active and transferable US government issued Top Secret security clearance that can be crossed over to a TSSCI security clearance is also acceptable
• US citizenship is required as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance

• Experience developing satellite planning and scheduling software
• Software development lifecycle experience using the SAFe Agile methodology
• Experience developing software using C and Python
• Experience with microservices in an AWS environment using Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Test Automation Dev Sec Ops  and CICD processes
• Experience with tools such as Confluence Eclipse Jira Jenkins Junit Kafka and Spring Boot
