Software Development Engineer

Vantor is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer to lead design and delivery of modern web and cloud solutions for our clients. You will architect scalable systems, own end to end implementation, and guide teams in applying engineering best practices. Working in an agile, collaborative environment, you'll build full stack applications, data integrations, and automation workflows on modern cloud platforms. You will mentor engineers, influence technical direction, and help clients modernize legacy systems while focusing on quality, reliability, and measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure web applications and services for client projects
• Lead technical design reviews and provide architectural guidance on cloud-native solutions
• Write clean, testable, well-documented code across the stack using modern frameworks
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and client stakeholders in agile ceremonies
• Mentor engineers, perform code reviews, and promote engineering best practices
• Integrate data sources, APIs, and automation workflows into existing client systems
• Own deployment pipelines and CI/CD processes to ensure reliable releases
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root-cause analysis with the team
• Contribute to technical roadmaps, standards, and reusable internal libraries
• Continuously evaluate new tools and technologies to improve delivery and system quality
