Local Driver

Job Description

The Local Driver plays a crucial role in ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods while maintaining excellent customer service. Operating a company-provided vehicle, the driver will execute daily local routes, occasionally accommodating overnight stays. As part of a small team, the role reports directly to the Fleet Manager and demands strict adherence to safety standards and schedules.

• Navigate assigned local routes efficiently
• Operate company-provided vehicles safely
• Handle delivery and pick-up of goods with care
• Adhere strictly to delivery schedules
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report issues
• Interact professionally with customers during deliveries
• Comply with all safety and traffic regulations
• Maintain accurate logs of routes and deliveries

• Minimum 1 year experience in local driving roles

• Valid driver’s license
• Proven safe driving record and practices
• Strong route navigation skills
• Effective time management abilities
• Excellent customer service orientation
• Clear communication skills
• Detail-oriented approach
