FULL TIME FLOOR TECH job at Service Master Commercial Services of Carroll County. Westminster, MD.

Responsibilities

• Perform all floor cleaning and maintenance duties for facilities using Service Master provided tools and procedures, including sweeping, mopping, polishing, vacuuming, shampooing carpets, stripping, waxing, buffing, moving furniture, disinfecting floors with sanitizer, spot cleaning, and cleaning elevators and stairs.
• Understand and identify different flooring types; operate various floor equipment and machinery; maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Use proper PPE and safety equipment as required; open and lock facilities and manage security system as required.

Qualifications

• Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reaching.
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 55 lbs.
• Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses.
• Minimum 1-2 years experience as a floor tech is highly desired but not required.
• On-the-job training provided; must be willing to learn and have a strong work ethic.
• Flexible, fast-paced, multi-tasking ability; contribute to a positive work climate; be in uniform, dependable, and on time.
