WESTMINSTER PLANT REPAIR SYSTEMS MANAGER

Westminster Plant Manager
The Repair Systems Manager ensures paid repair, internal FMI, and other non-warranty returned material activities follow approved processes and are managed effectively from initial customer notification and issuance of an RMA through return of product to the customer and closure of RMA/Q Notifications. This role is also responsible for monitoring, managing, and escalating warranty RMA activities that require production support (i.e., Failure Analysis scheduling/prioritization, production rework/repair, etc.).
As a member of the Plant Leadership Team this role will manage the Operations Repair Coordinators and has the authority and responsibility to manage and prioritize all RMA work. This person is responsible for creating and maintaining KPI’s, providing reporting and visibility to the non-warranty RMA activity, managing and continuously improving the associated processes, and escalating issues for resolution when required.
The role frequently interacts with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Rail Services, Engineering, Project Management, and other departments to coordinate and direct all activities associated with these processes.

- Management of the non-warranty RMA team to include the assignment & prioritization of workloads, tasks, and other responsibilities.
- Initiation, facilitation, and closure of non-warranty RMA’s.
- Monitor, manage, and elevate any required production support for warranty RMA efforts.
- Escalation of issues to appropriate personnel.
- Creation, maintenance and reporting of non-warranty RMA activities, management KPIs and metrics; to include tracking all non-warranty RMA’s.
- Maintain repair work schedule with Rail Service and OE production management to ensure timely repair of customer material.
- Validate the effectiveness of associated processes.
- Support, develop, and maintain non-warranty RMA procedures/instructions to assure compliance.
- Maintain a high level of data integrity within KBC’s SAP system.
- Lead and support continuous improvement efforts associated with these processes locally and globally.
- Must be able to comply with applicable company and plant procedures and policies.
The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in Westminster, MD is $105,400-$158,200 per year. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry and education.
