Powder Room Operator

Location:

Westminster, MD Shift: 1st Shift | 5:30 AM - 3:00 PM (9/80 Schedule, Off every other Friday) Pay Rate: $20.00/hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Powder Room Operator to support material blending and production operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for operating and monitoring mixing equipment, maintaining quality standards, following safety procedures, and ensuring accurate production documentation.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and monitor machines used for mixing and blending materials.
  • Ensure consistency and quality throughout the mixing process.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and address potential issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate production and quality records.
  • Follow established safety procedures when handling chemicals and production materials.
  • Support compliance with company quality standards and operating procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Previous manufacturing, machine operation, or production experience preferred.
  • Experience operating blending, mixing, or processing equipment is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant vocational or technical training is a plus.
  • Familiarity with safety procedures related to chemical handling is preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, masks, gloves, and lab coats as needed.
