Salary: $50.00 - $50.00

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a member of the Nursing Department and is responsible for the provision of nursing care. The RN manages care for patients and their families through application of the nursing process, independent judgment, and collaboration with all team members, including ancillary and support services. The RN develops nursing care plans, utilizes established clinical pathways, evaluates patient responses, revises care plans as needed, monitors progress, and prepares patients for discharge.

• Provide and delegate nursing care activities based upon patient needs and team skills/abilities.
• Supervise the delivery of care by the team.
• Evaluate patient response to treatment and nursing interventions, revising the plan of care as needed.
• Monitor patient progress and prepare patient for discharge.
• Collaborate and communicate with all team members, including ancillary and support services.

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing school (required) or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience; less than 2 years acceptable; behavioral health services experience preferred.
• Current CPR – AHA certification.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Psychiatric Nurse Certification (PNC) preferred.
