Inside Sales Representative – Westminster, MD

Our client is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to serve as a key point of contact for customers while supporting sales and order management activities. This individual will play a critical role in building and maintaining customer relationships, managing order activity, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales process.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary contact for customers regarding product inquiries, orders, and account-related questions.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process and manage customer orders accurately while ensuring compliance with company procedures and requirements.
  • Communicate order status, lead times, production schedules, and delivery updates to customers.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and supporting sales documentation.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships by providing exceptional service and ongoing account support.
  • Resolve customer concerns and service issues promptly, escalating matters when appropriate.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Engineering, Production, and Logistics teams to ensure customer expectations are met.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, sales activity, and order information within CRM and ERP systems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and support continuous process improvements.
  • Represent the organization professionally while upholding company standards for quality, reliability, and customer service.
  • Adhere to company policies regarding information security, confidentiality, and data protection.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required;
    Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of inside sales, customer service, account management, or related experience, preferably within a manufacturing, industrial, or B2B environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience utilizing ERP and/or CRM systems preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
