What You’ll DoAs part of our Streets Department team, you’ll:
- Operate heavy equipment including loaders, backhoes, dump trucks, pavers, graders, snowplows, street sweepers, and more
- Repair and maintain roads, storm drains, sidewalks, parks, and City facilities
- Work alongside a skilled crew in fast-paced outdoor environments
- Help keep the community safe during storms and emergencies
- Install signs, traffic devices, playground equipment, and infrastructure improvements
- Support City events and community programs

- Clear pathways from Equipment Operator I to Equipment Operator II and beyond

- High school diploma or GED
- Experience with heavy equipment, construction, landscaping, maintenance, or mechanics preferred
- Ability to obtain CDL within one year of hire
- High school diploma or GED
- Three years of heavy equipment operation experience
- Valid CDL with required endorsements preferred
