Warranty & Diagnostics Technician Position Overview
FR Conversions LLC is seeking two experienced Warranty & Diagnostic Technicians to support post‑delivery quality and field service for our fleet of converted ambulances, mini‑buses, and specialty mobility vans. This senior, hands‑on technical role is designed for individuals who can step into complex diagnostic and repair work with minimal training.
The Warranty & Diagnostic Technician serves as a technical problem‑solver and escalation resource, responsible for diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and structural issues on low‑volume, highly customized vehicles. The role requires comfort working without standard repair templates and the ability to troubleshoot systems where OEM platforms interface with custom electrical and mechanical upfits. When not actively supporting warranty vehicles, the technician performs Pre‑Delivery Inspections (PDI) on completed stock units to identify and correct issues before customer delivery, directly reducing downstream warranty events.
Most work is performed on‑site in Westminster, with field service required periodically based on customer need.

- Enjoys diagnosing complex, non‑repetitive problems and identifying true root cause.
- Is comfortable working independently and being trusted to make technical decisions.
- Takes pride in workmanship and long‑term repair quality, not quick fixes.
- Communicates clearly with technical and non‑technical partners.
- Prefers hands‑on technical mastery over people‑management responsibilities.
- Is comfortable working in environments where every vehicle is slightly different and not every problem has a documented solution.
- Pre‑Employment Physical, Hearing and Drug Test
- Pre‑Employment Respirator Fit Test
- A valid and current driver’s license is required; proof of renewal upon expiration.
- A clean driving record demonstrated through an MVR check will be conducted prior to employment and annually thereafter.
