Senior Accountant P3 – Westmont, IL
We are seeking a Senior Accountant P3 for our Client Accounting Services team in Westmont, IL to manage complex accounting tasks, prepare financial statements, and support diverse clients.
Responsibilities- Prepare timely and accurate monthly/quarterly property financial statements for a 4-6 property portfolio.
- Prepare and distribute monthly/quarterly financial reports – journal entries, financial statement preparation, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure internal accounting requirements are met and coordinate procedures with site property teams.
- Oversee internal and external audits and coordinate with various departments on audit requirements.
- Manage bank reconciliations, cash management for loan servicing, disbursement processing, and external reporting.
- Coordinate Accounts Payable process – review invoice coding, approvals, and compliance with controls.
- Assist with annual budget preparation – compile assumptions and capital budget information, review for reasonableness, and ensure timely entry into the accounting system.
- Conduct annual year-end reconciliation process – prepare, calculate, and review year‑end reconciliations, ensuring adjustments are billed timely and correctly per lease requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA desirable).
- Minimum 3–5 years of Real Estate Accounting experience.
- Knowledge of CAM and FASB 13.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required; Access desirable).
- Experience with Real Estate specific software (MRI or Yardi).
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time under pressure.
- Excellent client focus and ability to build trusted relationships.

- Ability to cope with ambiguity and make decisions with partial information.

Estimated compensation: $82,650.00 – $97,000.00 USD per year.
LocationOn‑site – Westmont, IL.
