Tax Manager - Automotive & Dealerships

Overview

We are recruiting a CPA with deep expertise in automotive dealership accounting to join a specialized public accounting and consulting firm that serves more than 200 dealerships nationwide.

• Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, audits, and accounting engagements for automotive dealership clients.
• Analyze dealership financial performance and provide recommendations to improve profitability, internal controls, and operational efficiency.
• Work directly with dealership owners, controllers, and management teams on accounting, tax, and business advisory matters.
• Assist with dealership‑specific accounting issues, including manufacturer reporting, balance sheet analysis, and operational reviews.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on client engagements while ensuring high‑quality service and timely project completion.

• Prior automotive dealership accounting experience from a CPA firm specializing in dealerships or within a dealership accounting department.
• CPA or strong willingness to obtain CPA certification.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

$115,000 - $145,000 per year

100% onsite at the firm’s office; daily in‑office collaboration required.
