NPD Project Engineer III

G&W Electric Co. seeks an NPD Project Engineer III to lead development of new products for power distribution equipment. In this role you will manage projects from concept through launch, coordinating cross-functional teams in design, testing, and validation. Responsibilities include requirements definition, detailed engineering, prototype builds, and root-cause analysis. You'll ensure compliance with industry standards, support manufacturing scale-up, and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end new product development projects from concept through launch
• Coordinate cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams
• Develop and review engineering requirements, specifications, and drawings
• Oversee prototype builds, testing, and design validation activities
• Ensure products meet relevant UL/IEC and customer standards
• Drive root-cause analysis and implement design improvements
• Support transition to manufacturing and production readiness
• Manage project schedules, risks, and technical documentation
• Collaborate with global teams and customers on technical solutions
• Promote safety, reliability, and continuous improvement in designs
