** Accounting Associate I, Mobile Engineering** – Westmont, IL, Remote As part of the Global Finance Operations team, we are currently seeking an Accounting Associate to be responsible for client invoicing and preparing monthly financial transactions in a high volume, multi-system, energized environment on the Mobile Engineering finance team. The Accounting Associate must have great attention to detail and be able to interact effectively with the managers, customers, and accounting/finance staff on a daily basis.

** What this job involves:
***** Responsibilities for the client-side transactional accounting work for MES in coordination with client account teams***
* • Review and setup new contracts and projects
* • Prepare client invoices in Corrigo and People Soft accurately and timely
* • Prepare monthly revenue uploads
* • Prepare monthly journal entries for revenue and expense accruals, reclasses, and expense allocations
* • Respond to billing inquiries from account teams
* • Maintain and update various monthly checklists containing client and billing information
* • Assist with client invoice audits as required
* • Assist with budgets and forecasts as needed
* • Follow-up on outstanding receivables and provide cash application instructions
* • Ensure compliance with both Jones Lang LaSalle Internal Audit and Client Accounting Services SAS 70 internal review standards
* • A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
* • 3+ years of accounting experience in a corporate environment
* • Strong accounting and analytical skills
* • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Peoplesoft 9.2
* • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* • Ability to multi-task, work successfully under pressure, and effectively prioritize and manage time and workload to meet client needs
* • Demonstrated consistency in values, principles and work ethic
* • Ability to work independently and within a team to build relationships and interact effectively with business partners
* • Willingness to take on new challenges, responsibilities, and assignments
* • Understanding of and commitment to client services
