Position: Consumer Banker III (Westmont)

Responsibilities

  • Perform necessary functions to open and maintain accounts.
  • Run a teller drawer as needed.
  • Support client engagement through active calling, conversations, and follow‑ups.
  • Perform daily activities that align with the First Financial Bank Experience, including but not limited to partnering with internal constituencies to bring the appropriate level of expertise to clients, ensuring timely follow‑up calls, and maintaining operational and risk‑management standards.
  • Assist clients with transactions in the branch, drive‑thru, by phone, or email.
  • Model the First Financial Bank mission and values for peers and coworkers.
  • Adhere to all compliance and regulatory procedures.
  • Track, report, and communicate business results and activities to the FCM.
  • Partner with district specialists to execute retail strategies that attract, retain, and grow core client relationships and provide a first‑class client experience.
  • Serve as a client’s trusted advisor by adding value and building deep relationships using the First Client Conversation Model.
  • Participate in and lead at the First Financial Bank Experience, including site‑center huddles and meetings to support sales and service activities.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales, service, and referral goals set by management through effective collaboration across teams and lines of business.
  • Provide digital assistance and support to clients using the bank’s online offerings.
  • Stay informed and up‑to‑date on all bank products, processes, and procedures, especially complex matters.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 3–4 years of experience in coaching and/or mentoring in a retail banking environment.
  • 3–4 years of personal experience in sales and service with a record of achieving sales and service goals.
  • 3–4 years of demonstrated success in meeting performance goals.
  • High‑school diploma or GED required.
  • 4–5 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent banking work experience.
Physical Requirements
  • Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequently lift and carry up to 10 lbs.
  • Frequently sit, stand, walk, and drive.
Compliance Statement

The associate is responsible for meeting all compliance requirements imposed on First Financial Bank by state and federal law and regulation, as well as all related First Financial Bank policies and procedures. This includes all Bank Secrecy Act, Anti‑Money Laundering, OFAC, and Suspicious Activity reporting requirements, as well as all other lending and deposit compliance requirements.
