Live Wire Construction, Inc. is seeking a results-driven and visionary executive to serve as Vice President of its Renewable Energy Business Unit, one of the company's fastest-growing business units. This role holds full executive responsibility for the Business Unit's operational strategy, business performance, financial results, and market growth. They will lead the Business Unit's leadership team, own the Business Unit’s profit-and-loss statement, direct contract review and negotiation, and sustain a continuous high-level business development pipeline.

The Vice President of Renewable Energy will bring deep industry expertise, strong financial acumen, and the strategic foresight to position Live Wire as a leader in renewable energy.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned executive with a proven record of leading complex operations in renewable energy, or a related construction industry. They are a visionary strategist and decisive leader who excels at balancing long-term business direction with operational execution. This individual brings financial fluency to own and defend a Business Unit’s P&L before ownership, the commercial judgment to negotiate complex, high-value agreements while protecting Live Wire's risk position, and the credibility to represent the company to owners, developers, utilities, and industry organizations.

• Base salary: $190,000 - $225,000, commensurate with experience

The Vice President of Renewable Energy provides executive leadership and operational oversight for Live Wire's Renewable Energy Business Unit, including an active portfolio of EPC-scale and commercial solar and electrical infrastructure projects with an annual Business Unit’s volume of $40M+. The VP owns Business Unit’s P&L performance, drives long-term business growth, and aligns Business Unit’s operations with corporate strategy. This position leads the Business Unit's project management and estimating teams and reports directly to the Executive Vice President, working in close partnership with the President, the CFO, and Live Wire legal counsel.

This leader will serve as a key partner in shaping the company's renewable energy strategy and competitive position.

• Directs and shapes the long-range strategy of the Renewable Energy Business Unit, including market positioning, service offering, geographic reach, and target client mix
• Collaborates with the President and Executive Vice President to define and execute long-term business strategy for the Business Unit
• Drives Business Unit’s goals, profitability, and performance benchmarks across all departments within the Business Unit
• Establishes operational policies and strategic initiatives that align the Business Unit with organizational goals
• Provides insight and leadership in capital investment planning and equipment utilization strategy
• Monitors renewable energy market conditions, incentive structures, interconnection trends, and regulatory developments, and adjusts Business Unit’s strategy accordingly
• Prepares and delivers Business Unit’s performance, forecast, and strategy presentations to the Executive Vice President and President
• Represents Live Wire to owners, developers, utilities, outside agencies, and professional and community organizations
