We are seeking a Project Coordinator for County Prestress & Precast, LLC at Westmont, IL.

• Review estimate, contract and contract documents (drawings, specifications, addenda, etc.) to become familiar with project
• Check erection drawings and piece tickets against contract documents, approval drawings and mark-ups
• Suggest or modify details to reduce costs to County Prestress, owner and/or erector
• Compare actual project being drawn with estimate at bid sheet and alert Project Manager/Engineer and Estimator of quantity or material deviations
• Ensure piece drawings are available a minimum of two days prior to their production dates
• Ensure embed plates and loose material are checked well before they are required so material can be fabricated, assembled and delivered
• Stay in continual contact with Project Manager, Project Coordinator and Project Scheduler in order to meet erection and production schedules
• Responsible for checking dimensions and scope of work of drawings & details prepared by others
• Work with Project Engineers and Project Coordinators during development of erection drawings and piece tickets
• Work with all other County Prestress departments to promote a strong working relationship
• Develop and maintain relationships with external engineers, architects and contractors as required or requested

• Education:
  
  AutoCAD or Revit certification, or Autodesk certified
• Knowledge and
  
  Skills:
  
  Detailed experience in precast concrete drafting and detailing. Extensive ability to read and comprehend contract drawings
• Previous
  
  Experience:
  
  Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in precast
• Additional
  
  Skills:
  
  Knowledge of Lec Wall would be a plus
