Team Lead II

G&W Electric Co., a global leader in power grid solutions, is seeking a Team Lead II to oversee daily operations on the manufacturing floor. In this role, you will coordinate staff, allocate work, and ensure production meets safety, quality, and delivery targets. You will monitor KPIs, troubleshoot process issues, and drive continuous improvement using lean tools. Partnering closely with engineering, quality, and maintenance, you'll coach and develop team members, support training, and uphold a culture of safety, collaboration, and accountability while contributing to reliable power solutions worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of a manufacturing production team to meet safety, quality, and output targets.
• Allocate labor, schedule work, and adjust priorities based on production plans and customer demand.
• Monitor KPIs and production metrics, identifying and resolving bottlenecks or process issues.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements on the shop floor.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and maintenance to address product or equipment issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean tools and root cause analysis methods.
• Train, coach, and develop team members to enhance skills, productivity, and engagement.
• Conduct performance feedback, support attendance management, and reinforce company policies.
• Verify that work instructions, drawings, and technical documentation are followed accurately.
• Support implementation of new products, processes, and equipment within the production area.
