Hourly Pay Range: $36.00 - $55.80. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

  • Full-Time: 36 hours/week
  • Hours:

    Evening 1pm-1:30am, rotating weekends/holidays
What You Will Need
  • Education:

    Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher. If the highest degree is an Associate's, must graduate with a Bachelor's within five years of position start date.
  • Experience:

    1+ year(s) in an emergency department unit required; pediatric experience preferred.
  • License/Certification:
    Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure;
    Current CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross);
    Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within three months of start date;
    Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within three months of start date;
    Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS) within three months of start date.
What You Will Do
  • Provide professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures.
  • Employ critical thinking skills, assess patients' condition, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor patients' progress, and record pertinent observations.
  • Delegate appropriate patient care tasks to other staff.
  • Function as a team member to fulfill unit goals.
