LPN Medication Nurse

Sunrise Senior Living seeks an LPN Medication Nurse to provide resident-centered medication administration and nursing care in our assisted living and memory care community. In this on-site role, you will safely administer medications, monitor resident responses, perform basic nursing assessments, and document care in accordance with regulations and company standards. You will collaborate with nurses, physicians, residents, and families to support personalized care plans, promote dignity and independence, and uphold infection control and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications safely and accurately to residents
• Monitor and document resident response to medications and treatments
• Perform basic nursing care, including vitals, assessments, and interventions within LPN scope
• Report changes in resident condition to RN, physician, and leadership
• Maintain accurate medication records and ensure regulatory compliance
• Support care plans in collaboration with nurses, physicians, and families
• Promote resident dignity, safety, and person-centered care in daily interactions
• Educate residents and families on medications and care routines
• Follow infection control, safety, and quality standards
• Mentor and support care team members in medication-related tasks
