The Supplier Quality Engineer at Magnet-Schultz of America will act as the lead quality representative for all supplier development related activities by assuring all requirements of the quality management system are being followed throughout the supply chain.
Duties & Responsibilities- Request and review all supplier PPAP’s.
- Conduct 2nd party quality management system audits on potential new suppliers per Magnet-Schultz of Americas supplier selection process.
- Conduct 2nd party quality management system audits on current suppliers based on potential risk to Magnet-Schultz of Americas quality management system.
- Manage all Non-Conformance Reports (NCR’s) & Supplier Corrective & Preventive Action Reports (SCAR’s) related to suppliers.
- Act as the quality liaison between Magnet-Schultz of America & the supplier.
- Effectively monitor all supplier related KPI’s through supplier score cards.
- Lead all supplier related improvement activities.
- Travel up to 25% (Supplier Visits).
- Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering field or Technical equivalent background or significant experience within a Quality Management System.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient working with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent time management, organization and prioritization skills.
- Certified as IATF 16949:2016 supplier auditor.
