Position: Service Tech
Location: Chicagoland Area
Pay Range: $25-27/hr based on experience and background
Key Technologies & Experience- CCTV Experience (preferred)
- BA (Burglar Alarm) Experience
- Low voltage experience
- Reliable transportation – SUV/Large Sedan with 4 doors
- Basic hand tools (screwdriver, pliers, wire cutters, drills, multimeter)
- 6 ft+ ladder (collapsible)
- Valid State Driver’s License
- Networking background (tech savvy)
- Organized and great with inventory tracking
- Excellent customer service skills
- Sales background (upselling)
- AV experience
- Smart home installation experience
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current valid State Driver’s License
- Reliable transportation with insurance policy
- Basic hand tools and a 6-8 foot ladder
- Low Voltage equipment installs, add‑ons, conversions, radio replacement, and wire pulling for residential and small business customers.
- Running remote tests to ensure equipment operates properly.
- Interacting with customers and educating on services.
- Tracking inventory and jobs on smartphones, laptops, or tablets.
- Reimbursement of $.70 per mile up to 200 miles a week.
