- You already understand what we’re building.Join our 'Award-Winning' Community@lexiaeducationservices 💜As a Youth Mentor in Weston-super-Mare, you’ll work directly with young people facing Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) and Special Educational Needs (SEN), by delivering unique blend of intervention, through both sport and academic support, you can help re-engage students with their education and learning.

- Mentor 1:1 or in Small GroupsSupport young people with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) and SEN (Special Educational Needs) through their daily journeys, meeting their personal and emotional needs.
- Encourage Expression Through CreativityUse art, music, sport, or your own specific skills to help students engage with their school work and connect to their peers.
- Support Emotional RegulationHelp young people develop their coping skills, offer calm guidance, and help students build resilience.
- Promote Positive BehaviourUse trauma-informed approaches and Team Teach techniques to reinforce boundaries in a compassionate way.
- Collaborate with Educators & FamiliesWork closely with SENCOs, teachers, and pastoral teams to provide tailored support for students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) and SEN (Special Educational Needs).
