This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working on classic and prestige vehicles and takes pride in completing high-quality work. You’ll be involved throughout the repair and restoration process, working across mechanical, body, preparation and paint disciplines.
The Role
As a Classic Car Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of restoration and repair work, including:
* Removing and refitting mechanical components, body parts and trim as required.
* Preparing vehicles and components for paint.
* Carrying out body shaping and ensuring panels are correctly prepared.
* Applying primers and preparing surfaces for top coats.
* Applying paint top coats and lacquer to a high standard.
* Carrying out polishing, finishing and detailing work.
* Ensuring completed vehicles meet the required quality and presentation standards.

About You
We’re looking for someone with previous experience working on classic, prestige or restoration vehicles, with a strong eye for detail and pride in their workmanship.
You should be comfortable working across different stages of a vehicle repair and restoration project, rather than being restricted to one area. A background in body repair, preparation and paint, alongside mechanical and trim knowledge, would be highly beneficial.
You’ll need to be:
* Experienced within the automotive repair, restoration or bodyshop sector.
* Confident removing and refitting mechanical, body and trim components.
* Experienced in body preparation, shaping and priming.
* Comfortable applying top coats and lacquer.
* Skilled in polishing and final detailing.
* Quality-focused with excellent attention to detail.
* Able to work independently and as part of a specialist team.
* Reliable, professional and committed to producing high-quality work.
What’s on Offer?
* Salary up to £40k pa.
* Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week.
* 20 days annual leave + Bank Holidays.
* Opportunity to work on classic and specialist vehicles.
* A varied role covering mechanical, body, preparation, paint and finishing.
* A specialist working environment where quality and attention to detail are highly valued.
