Automotive Mechanic, Automotive Technician
- Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 basic per annum (tailored directly to your hands-on experience and technical skillset)
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (100% WEEKEND FREEDOM with strictly zero Saturday shifts required!)

Role OverviewSeeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic to join our highly respected workshop team in Weston-super-Mare. You will carry out routine servicing, tyre and braking system maintenance, diagnostic troubleshooting using modern equipment, and general repairs across a wide variety of customer vehicles to high industry standards.
Requirements- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or City & Guilds / time-served equivalent) with a proven track record in a busy workshop
- Solid foundational knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, routine maintenance, and mechanical repair
- Valid DVSA MOT Smart Card or F-Gas certification is advantageous, but not essential
- Full UK driving licence & own hand tools
- Base: Weston-super-Mare (Free secure on-site staff parking)
- Road Links: Strategic position directly served by the M5 (J21) motorway corridor, A370, and A38, offering fast commutes across Somerset and Bristol
- Public Transport: Excellent connections via Weston-super-Mare mainline railway station alongside regular regional bus services
