POSITION: Kindergarten Para-Educator
Hurlbutt Elementary School
Job Summary:
The Kindergarten Para-Educator collaborates with kindergarten teachers to create a supportive and engaging learning environment for young children. They play a key role in assisting with the academic, social, and emotional development of kindergarten students, ensuring a smooth transition into formal education.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in early childhood education preferred
- Previous experience working with young children
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for fostering the growth and development of young learners
- Understanding of early childhood education principles and best practices
- Service oriented with strong interpersonal skills
- Capable of establishing positive and productive working relationships with teachers, other colleagues and students
