Holds or is eligible for the Connecticut endorsement #165. Knowledge of various disabilities and effective strategies to address them. Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills. Patience, flexibility, and a genuine commitment to the success of students with special needs. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate.

As established by the contract between the Weston Board of Education and the Weston Teachers' Association.
