Construction Accountant

Pay: $85,000.00 - $ per year

A large general contractor located in Boston seeks a reliable individual who enjoys a fast-paced environment to fill the position of Accountant. This full-time position reports directly to the CFO. The company offers a competitive salary and benefits package as well as a great working environment.

• Manage the accounts payable function in its entirety including invoices, statements and vendor inquiries.
• Complete all credit applications and obtain W-9 compliance paperwork to set up new vendors.
• Enter purchase orders and subcontracts into Procore & Sage 300.
• Responsible for subcontractor compliance including receipt of signed contract, signed lien release and insurance certificates.
• Process payments to vendors and subcontractors.
• Compile, review and reconcile credit card statements monthly.
• Provide support for yearly financial audit.
• Other projects, as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Proficiency in Sage 300 Timberline required
• Proficiency in Procore required
• Proficiency in Quick Books Desktop a plus
• Competent in Microsoft Office
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail
