We are seeking an energetic and experienced Toddler Preschool Teacher to join our team! You will be leading a class of students through the school year, assessing developmental milestones, and creating curriculum to meet students’ collective and individual needs.
You are passionate about learning and helping students reach their potential. With strong creative and problem-solving skills, you love connecting with toddlers and creating an engaging classroom environment. You are skilled at collaboration with your teaching team. You have strong written and verbal communication skills. You are looking for a career commitment.
Responsibilities- Create a comprehensive curriculum with a focus on play-based learning
- Lead children in language development and self-help skills
- Assist children with developing social and emotional skills
- Use instructional methods and learning techniques that are consistent with early childhood scientific research
- Communicate effectively with parents and other school personnel
- Assess student's skills and performance to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones
- Be knowledgable and comply with MA EEC regulations and training requirements
- Submit to a background record check with fingerprints
- Minimum MA EEC Teacher certification. College degree preferred.
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
- Problem-solving and mediation skills
