Facilities & Kitchen Assistant — On-Site

This position entails two distinct functions, this is an on-site position in Weston, MA.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, these individuals will be responsible for cleaning common areas, faculty suites, classrooms and offices.

There will be some outdoor landscaping required, including snow removal.

During the summer months, individuals will primarily assist in preparing student rooms for the new year (cleaning carpets, sanding walls, etc.).

Reporting to the chef, these individuals are responsible for stocking general areas (coffee, cold beverages…), prepping the items on the salad bar and assisting the chef as needed.

Washing dishes and pots and pans, cleaning the kitchen and dining room are also part of their duties.

Due to the physical nature of these tasks, individuals must be able to carry/lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods of time and bend, reach, stoop.

Basic knife skills are required.

This is a 40 hour/week benefit eligible position.
