Travel Nurse RN CVOR – Weston, Florida

Travel or local registered nurse needed for an ASAP start (minimum 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience). Candidates able to start within 5 weeks are preferred. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

• Work 12‑hour shifts with guaranteed 36 hours for 3×12 schedule or 40 hours for 8/10 schedule
• Must have scrub experience and 2 years of direct CVOR experience
• Cardiac call required – approximately 6 minimum per month (may be up to 10 if short‑staffed)
• Call schedule includes 1 per weekday and 2 weekend shifts (weekends are 24‑hour shifts)
• Float within scope to meet facility needs
• Work with cardiac OR cases and other surgical cases when no CVOR cases are available
• Participate in teaching and training of students and new staff

• Minimum 2+ years of recent bedside nursing experience; RN license
• Scrub experience and 2 years direct CVOR exposure
• Cardiac call experience
• AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
• Must be nicotine‑free – negative 10 panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
• Fluency with EPIC charting system
• EKG and Pharm test required during orientation with 2 attempts maximum
• Complete time‑sensitive modules (6–15 hours, non‑billable) pre‑start and annually
• Willingness to work with specialized equipment including Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, IABP, TAVR, and various cardiac surgical procedures

• Pay package based on 10‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation)

Short‑term acute care teaching hospital with 230 staffed beds, including an 18‑bed cardiac operating room unit. Daily census of 55–60 patients, smoke‑free environment, advanced cardiac surgical equipment, and emphasis on education and training.
