Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the interventional radiology field and will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support during various interventional procedures.

• Shift Type: Days
• Shift Length: 8 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Schedule: Monday through Friday with shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-Call Requirement: 1 to 2 nights per week and every third weekend
• Holiday Requirements: 2 weekends a year

• Unit Type: Interventional Radiology
• Number of Suites/Labs: 4
• Average Cases per Day: 10

• Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the interventional radiology field
• Required Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• Monitor and record patient information during cardiac procedures
• Assist in circling and scrubbing for peripheral, interventional radiology, and vascular cases

• EMR/Equipment: Proficiency in Cerner and Merge systems is preferred

• Be available to float into Electrophysiology (EP) to assist as needed
• Maintain a response time of 30 minutes for on-call duties
• Follow the dress code by wearing provided scrubs
