Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery / Postpartum / Mother-Baby

Weston, WI

Contract | Days/Variable | 12-Hour Shifts | Onsite

• Provide direct nursing care to labor, delivery, and postpartum patients in an 11-bed L&D/PP/MB unit
• Manage vaginal births, cesarean section recoveries, inductions, and special care nursery patients as needed
• Titrate IV medications including labor induction agents and epidural drips
• Operate and interpret electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) systems including Novii and GE platforms
• Collaborate with OB physicians, anesthesia, and respiratory therapy staff available in-house
• Float to other units as a support resource when staffing allows; agency staff will not serve in a charge nurse role

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Experience in LDRP nursing and cesarean section recovery (excluding cases under general anesthesia)
• Ability to titrate drips including epidurals and IV labor induction medications
• Must adhere to AWHONN staffing ratio guidelines

• Experience with Novii and/or GE electronic fetal monitoring systems
• Familiarity with special care nursery patient populations
• Experience in high-volume birth settings (approximately 320 births per year)

• Self-scheduling flexibility with 12-hour shifts and the opportunity to pick up additional shifts when available
• Supportive unit environment with in-house OB, anesthesia, and respiratory therapy available around the clock
