Staff Accountant

We're seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their accounting career to develop core skills in a supportive environment.

• Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions
• Perform monthly account reconciliations, including bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts
• Assist with accounts receivable activities, including invoice processing and collections follow-up
• Support accounts payable functions, including vendor invoice verification and payment processing
• Help process payroll and ensure accurate recording of payroll-related transactions
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing procedures
• Support the team with ad hoc projects and reporting as needed

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 0-5 years of accounting experience (internships and relevant coursework considered)
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and the general ledger system
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Experience with accounting software (Great Plains, Management Reporter etc.) is a plus but not required
