Senior Accounting Associate (Confidential Family Office Opportunity)
We're partnering with a highly sophisticated family office seeking a Senior Accounting Associate to join its accounting team. This role offers broad exposure to investment and operating entities, ownership of key accounting processes, and the opportunity to drive meaningful projects in a collaborative, high-performing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex bookkeeping and accounting activities across multiple entities
- Lead month-end close, reconciliations, cash management, and financial reporting processes
- Analyze investment activity, including capital gains, dividends, interest income, and alternative investments
- Drive accounting projects, process improvements, and operational efficiencies
- Partner with internal stakeholders to provide accounting support and insights
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience with ERP/general ledger systems such as Net Suite, Intacct, Oracle, or similar platforms
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Preferred:
- CPA, CA, and/or MBA
- Investment, expense, or family office accounting experience
- Experience working within complex organizations and global teams
