- Manage the flow and accounting of $1,000,000‑$1,500,000 in annual revenue and expenses.
- Prepare end‑of‑year financial statements for town auditors.
- Prepare the annual budget and determine pricing of courses offered.
- Analyze class profitability and decide which courses proceed.
- Reconcile bank statements and daily/monthly credit‑card statements.
- Generate and process timesheets for all teachers.
- Receive, verify, and process invoices for independent contractors.
- Record transactions in Websolutions.
- Process refunds, credit cards, and purchase orders; make bank deposits.
- Bill and coordinate with Special Education, Town Human Services, and Open Choice departments for program participation needs.
- Serve as a liaison with various town agencies (Human Services, Parks & Recreation, Extended School Year, Open Choice).
- Maintain inventory of supplies and textbooks; order and coordinate distribution for Summer, After‑School, and Adult classes.
- Ensure sufficient postage for catalog mailing.
- Offer suggestions for program improvements and act as a sounding board for the Director of Continuing Education.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Director.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong computer proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite, and other applications.
- Organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities concurrently.
- High accuracy, attention to detail, and record‑keeping skills.
- Experience with budgeting and implementation preferred.
- Experience with procurement systems (Pan Tri, Mart, or similar) preferred.
