Infant Teacher

About This Role

A Child's Place is a private non‑profit NAEYC accredited child care center serving children 6 weeks to 5 years old. We are looking for an experienced, caring, and dependable teacher who exudes a passion for teaching young children. This full‑time position is Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week with a rotating schedule of 8:00‑4:00, 9:00‑5:00, or 10:00‑6:00. Candidates must have at least one year of teaching experience and a CDA or higher in early childhood education.

Strong communication skills, team teaching experience, and relevant references are required. Competitive salary is based on experience and education, and benefits are available.

• Planning and implementing age‑appropriate activities
• Communicating with families and co‑teachers

• At least one year of experience working with infants
• CDA or higher
• Knowledge of the CTELDS and DOTS
• Passion for teaching young children
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work in a team teaching environment
