About This Role
A Child's Place is a private non‑profit NAEYC accredited Child Care Center serving children 6 weeks‑5 years old. We are looking for an experienced, caring, and dependable teacher who exudes a passion for teaching young children. This is a full‑time teaching position. This position is M‑F, 40 hours a week with a rotating schedule of 8:00‑4:00, 9:00‑5:00, or 10:00‑6:00. You must have at least 1 year of teaching experience and a CDA or higher in ECE.
Strong communication skills, team teaching experience, and relevant references are required. Competitive salary based on experience and education. Benefits are available.
Job responsibilities include:
- Team Teaching
- Creating a safe, healthy, and fun environment that promotes children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Plan and implement age appropriate activities.
- Communicating with families and co‑teachers.
- At least 1 year experience working with infants
- CDA or higher
- Knowledge of the CTELDS and DOTS
- Passionate about teaching young children.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team teaching environment.
