Financial Manager, Corporate Finance
Vaco is looking for a Director of Finance to join a high‑growth financial services organization experiencing significant expansion through both organic growth and strategic acquisitions. Reporting directly to the COO, this senior leadership role will drive financial strategy, oversee accounting and reporting functions, and partner closely with executive leadership on key business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and long‑range strategic planning
- Provide actionable financial reporting, KPI dashboards, and business performance insights
- Oversee accounting operations, financial controls, compliance, and external audit relationships
- Support acquisition activity, including financial due diligence, deal analysis, and integration efforts
- Partner cross‑functionally with leadership to support growth initiatives and operational scalability
- 8‑12 years of progressive finance and accounting experience with leadership responsibility
- CPA preferred; MBA a plus
- Experience with in financial services, wealth management, or professional services environments strongly preferred
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate financial data into business recommendations
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving organization
