The organization places a strong emphasis on operational excellence and strategic tax planning across its management company and affiliated entities. Description Oversee tax compliance and reporting for the management company and related entities (federal, state, and international where applicable) Lead tax planning initiatives related to management fee income, incentive compensation, and partner allocations Advise on structuring considerations for the management company, including entity optimization and cross-border operations Partner with senior leadership, legal, and finance teams on tax implications of business decisions Manage relationships with external tax advisors and ensure delivery of high-quality work Monitor and interpret changes in tax legislation, assessing impact to the firm Support transfer pricing and intercompany arrangements as applicable Lead responses to tax audits and regulatory inquiries Play a key role in improving tax processes, controls, and documentation MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA OR MST strongly preferred. 10-15+ years of tax experience, with a mix of public accounting and in-house experience preferred Deep expertise in partnership taxation and management company structures within asset management Familiarity with compensation-related tax matters (e.g., carried interest, deferred comp, partner allocations) Strong understanding of multi-jurisdictional tax considerations Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-performance environment Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders Job Offer Competitive annual base salary ranging from $210,000 to $280,000 USD, depending on experience.
