About This Role

The Patient Care Administrative Nurse Supervisor is an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for supervising and monitoring the Nursing department(s) on an assigned shift, ensuring the delivery of quality patient care and fostering a positive nursing environment.

• Supervise and monitor the Nursing department(s) on an assigned shift.
• Ensure appropriate delivery of direct and indirect patient care.
• Utilize the Nursing Process to create a positive environment for nursing practice.
• Foster continuous quality improvement to enhance patient care outcomes.
• Ensure patient flow throughout the organization.
• Provide leadership for multiple hospital departments in the absence of the RN unit manager, director, or administration.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required
• Experience: 3 years of acute Psychiatric/Behavioral Health Nursing or Supervisory/Leadership experience required
• Licenses &
  
  Certifications:
  
  
  • Active Registered Nurse license from the State of Connecticut required
  • Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA)
