Service Technician

Realm is a systems integration company based in Norwalk, Connecticut, specializing in the design, development, and installation of elegant, intuitive control systems for lighting, security, access control, entertainment, and energy management. What You’ll Do

As an A/V Service Technician at Realm, you'll play a crucial role in our operations. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Installing and servicing a range of hardware equipment, including TVs, speakers, video extenders, and amplifiers.
• Skilled installation and maintenance of shades.
• Utilizing your excellent diagnostic skills to solve technical issues.
• Continually learning and mastering new skills in the evolving A/V landscape.
• Part of an on-call rotation to assist clients after hours.

Who You Are

We're looking for someone with:

• A track record of successful integration and installation support.
• Outstanding diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new skills in the A/V field.
• A professional attitude and meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience in installing high-fidelity (HiFi) audio equipment.
• Working knowledge of products from manufacturers like Savant, Lutron, Crestron, Sonos, Control 4 and Universal Remote.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 40 – 50 hours per week
• Location: Norwalk, CT / On the Road
• Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
• Paid Time O ff : 13 PTO days (plus +1 day per year of employment)
• Paid Holidays: 8 paid holidays
