Accounting Manager

Mid-City Scrap, LLC, a family-owned metal recycling leader in Middletown, CT, seeks a Temporary Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting for its wholesale scrap operations. In this hands-on role, you'll manage general ledger activity, A/R and A/P, bank and account reconciliations, and month-end close. You'll prepare financial reports, support budgeting and cash-flow forecasting, and ensure accurate costing of metal purchases and sales.

The role partners closely with operations and leadership to maintain strong internal controls, support audits, and uphold timely, reliable financial information in a safety-focused, team-oriented environment.
