Our client, a leading travel and tourism organisation, is looking for an enthusiastic and results-driven Travel Consultant to join their team in Johannesburg.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for travel, strong sales ability, excellent customer service skills, and the confidence to design and sell tailored travel experiences. • Consult with clients to understand their travel requirements and preferences.
• Design, quote, and sell customised travel packages and experiences.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the booking journey.
• Manage customer enquiries, bookings, amendments, and follow-ups.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Achieve individual sales and revenue targets.
• Upsell additional travel products and services where appropriate.
• Stay updated on destinations, travel trends, and supplier offerings.
• Ensure accuracy and attention to detail when processing bookings and documentation.
• Previous experience as a Travel Consultant within the travel/tourism industry.
• Proven sales experience with a track record of achieving targets.
• Strong knowledge of travel products, destinations, and booking processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused with a passion for creating memorable travel experiences.
• Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.

• Competitive basic salary of R10 000 – R12 500 per month, dependent on experience.
